The following schedule is for the day on which each person will present the logger report. These logs will be shared orally with the group and electronically for all group members. Loggers are the historians of the UPWP who capture and record each day's events for us, so taking notes throughout "your" day is crucial.
Loggers are encouraged to be as creative as they wish in reporting the events, i.e., the information should be accurate and should capture the major ideas from the day's meeting, but the manner in which it is reported may be varied including story formats, poems, limericks, letters, plays, movies, etc.--humorous or serious. Explore various ways to provide information which appeal to the audience and refocus the group's thinking on teaching writing. The logger reports provide an opportunity to transform factual material into interesting writing, to have fun, and to work with someone you might not have worked with before. Also, be mindful of the need for both loggers to share within a 15 minute time slot.
If for any reason you are unable to be the logger for the scheduled day, please arrange to trade with another Fellow so that we always have two loggers per day.
